Had a GREAT time of playing to some enthusiastic audiences at The Jazz Showcase in Chicago last week Thursday thru Sunday with my quartet featuring James Cammack on bass, Justefan on vibes and Makaya McCraven on drums. Our opening night set received an excellent review from The Chicago Tribune, and above/below are a few video excerpts from our sets. Additional footage will be posted soon.
More exciting events are on the horizon including my quartet with Joe Locke appearing at The Chicago Jazz Festival and the debut of my sextet at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola at Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC with some of my favorite East Coast musicians.
